في مطعم بائس
أنا وصديقي الشاعري اليائس
طلبتُ كأس ماء من النادل
فأتى وقال: وهذا كأس ماء من أجل الحرية، ثم جاء آخر وقال: من أجل عيون الحرية اطلب ما تشاء.
وحدثني نادل عجوز بأسى: إننا هنا جميعاً نحب الحرية.
خرجنا أنا وصديقي الشاعري المذهول
والمعبأ بأمل وبحلم رومانسي
خرجنا وأنا أفكر
أن كل العاملين في هذا المطعم وبالصدفة
يشجعون فريق الحرية لكرة القدم
